Enrolment
As the demand for quality preschool is high, our centre has a waiting list. We encourage you to place your name on our waiting list. In August or September each year the centre has an orientation day for children who wish to come to preschool. Here you will meet the staff, view the centre and fill out enrolment forms to apply for a place next year. Invitations for orientation day are sent in August via email. You are welcome to call or come in at any time in the year to place your name on the waiting list. During the year we also take new enrolments as places become available.
As per DECs funding conditions, priorities for enrolments will be as follows:
- Children who have turned 3 and are holders of a health care card or children who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
- Children who turn 4 on or before 31st July the year of enrolment.
- Children who turn 4 after 31st July the year of enrolment. Please note we receive less funding for children who are in this category.

The NSW Parliament has passed a Bill to amend the Public Health Act to strengthen vaccination enrolment requirements in early childhood education and care. From 1st January 2018 Peter Pan Preschool will NOT BE ABLE TO ENROL children who are unvaccinated due to their parent’s conscientious objection.

If we have any vacancies available throughout the year we will give you a call. If we cannot find a place for your child we will be emailing out invitations to orientation in August for children who will be 4 on or before 31st July the year of enrolment. Children who are 3 turning 4 from 1st August will be contacted if we have any remaining preschool vacancies. Due to high demand some children who turn 4 after 31st July in the year of enrolment may not receive a place until the following year.
